Itinerary

At the indicated time we will meet in front of the SEO BirdLife Barraca and from there we will start walking to the heart of the Riet Vell Nature Reserve. Ready? Let’s get started!

First, we will visit an organic rice farm next to a lagoon that is unknown to most people and that you will fall totally in love with as soon as you arrive. From the observatory and with the sunset lights, it will be the best time to take the best photos of the birds that will fly in front of us. Photography lovers, get your camera ready!

Afterwards, we will return to the start of the tour and board the vehicles to go to the Tancada lagoon, where we will make another stop to try to spot flamingos. These birds have a very particular pinkish colour, but do you know the reason for this hue? We’ll find out!

After seeing these animals, we will continue the route to Trabucador beach. In this cove we will enjoy a romantic sunset in all its splendor, just when the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Alfacs Bay begin to turn orange and scarlet.

Finally, we will conclude the tour with the sunset at the Trabucador sand-bar.
