LA RAVAL DE L’ART It is an art space, surrounded by nature, at the foot of the Parque Natural dels Ports, where we work and exhibit our work, to create an exchange between the visitor and the creators of the ceramic work. We also offer classes and intensive courses in ceramics, both for beginners and for improving various techniques. CERAMICS: EARTH, WATER, AIR AND FIRE Ceramics is clay fired at high temperatures and is one of the oldest crafts practiced by human beings, with the manufacture of utilitarian ceramics, they have been able to cook and preserve food and liquids, as well as make decorative and figurative objects. Making a piece of clay with our own hands connects us to the earth and to the most primal sensations and gives us the possibility of unleashing our creativity by immersing ourselves in the sensations offered by contact with this raw material that is so common and at the same time so unique. INTENSIVE INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP IN MANUAL CERAMICS The workshop we offer consists of the completely manual elaboration of a piece (bowl, cup) made from a ball of clay, with the pinch technique, with which we widen the piece with our fingers until we achieve a balanced shape and regular walls, then we will decorate it with sgraffito or incisions with natural objects (stones, shells, combs, plants) in this workshop We also offer the possibility of cooking the pieces.
