After almost 1000km of length, the river flows into the Mediterranean Sea surrounded by the island of Buda where the cold waters of the interior of the peninsula mix with the warm waters of the Mediterranean. The 2 km itinerary runs along the river bank until the panoramic tower of the "Zigurat" from where we can see the lighthouse of Isla de Buda today surrounded by the sea. The former mouth of the levante, Isla de Sant Antoni, as well as the recently created lagoon of Garxal. After the fabulous panorama we will enter the ecosystem of the salt flats through a path that will bring us to the beach and the dunes of Riumar. During the along the way we will make stops at the observatories in order to spot the prevailing avifauna in the Garxal lagoon. This itinerary is one of the richest for the great diversity of ecosystems (river, lagoon, beach and dunes) in just 2 km total linear distance. The bus will wait for us at Riumar beach.
Itinerary guided by bus through the southern hemidelta, passing the "Lo Passador" point. We will make stops to observe the most emblematic birds of the Delta, such as the flamingo in the Tancada and Encanyissada lagoons.
