Espadrilles are in full swing. They are a traditional footwear in Catalonia, which is now more than ever sweeping the world of fashion. Starting with jute soles, we will teach you how to make your own traditional espadrilles: We will start the process by cutting all the pieces that make up the product (you can choose between two colours of fabric). Then we will assemble these pieces, by manually sewing them to the sole. Finally, we will place the ribbons to hold the shoe to the leg. It is a completely artisanal process, which will allow you to understand the entire production technique of espadrilles. In addition, jute is a plant fibre that insulates heat, so your espadrilles will become the perfect ally for your feet during the summer. Come and make your own espadrilles with the colours of your choice! What the workshop includes: – A pair of jute soles in your shoe size. – All the components that make up the espadrille:

• Upper, heel, culottes and straps.
• Needles, thread.

BRING AN APRON OR A GOWN TO KEEP FROM GETTING DIRTY…AND A LOT OF DESIRE TO ENJOY…!! For the little ones: 1- Color a sheet with a picture of espadrilles. 2- Draw and paint your espadrilles: We will give the child a pair of white espadrilles, so that he can draw and paint them. 3- Tape a pair of espadrilles, which they can take home. Color of ribbon to choose from. We will also teach the correct way to tie the espadrilles to the leg, so that they stay well secured. 4- Make and tape a pair of espadrilles.
